I went to see Richard Harris (one of my all-time favourite actors) in Henry IV at the Wyndham’s Theatre, London in 1990 - Thought I was going to see a DeVere (Shakespeare ????????) play… turned out it wasn’t - but still enjoyed it… did the ‘stage door Johnny’ thing and Harris generously signed my program before he was whisked off to the nearest pub before last orders!! ????????
