AN original WW1 period Officer's swagger stick of the Royal Jersey Light Infantry Militia. In excellent used condition overall as images, having light wear to the highlights of the white metal head and bamboo. With more significant wear to the silver ferrule through active use. The white metal head bears the Arms of Jersey with a King's crown. The bamboo shaft is very nearly straight, having just a very slight bend. The silver ferrule is obviously more worn as detailed. Overall the stick is 640mm in length. It would be almost impossible to date the piece exactly, but from appearance, the stick look and feels to be WWI period. A fine example from a very scarce Militia unit.
