Signed photograph showing SAS operatives during Operation Nimrod (5 May 1980)

£99.50

Robin Horsfall was a member of the SAS counter-terrorist team that assaulted the Iranian Embassy in London in 1980, helping to rescue nineteen hostages who had been held for six days. At 23 years old, he was one of the youngest members of the SAS to take part in the Iranian Embassy siege. 100% Genuine signature (as the great man provided me this copy when I assisted him move home in the 2010’s). The photograph shows SAS operatives during Operation Nimrod (5 May 1980) — one of the most famous military operations in British history, televised live, rescuing all but one of the remaining hostages and killing five of the six hostage-takers in just 17 minutes. This is a genuinely exciting piece of British military history. 30cms x 20cms

This product would be a great fit for collectors of rare and notable historical artifacts.
