RAF Horn church, Essex, 222 Squadron Hornchurch 1940s it also has signatures from the author Richard C Smith veteran Dave Davies of 222 sqd 1940 W. Bird "229 Squadron". S. Reynolds "2713 Sqdn, RAF Regiment. Now the old man did volunteer at Duxford and I remember him saying he met some veterans so this is likely from then. please ask any questions and check my other listings.
