South Africa 1899-1902 Imperial Light Horses Shoulder Title

This photograph shows a South Africa 1899–1902 Imperial Light Horse shoulder title, a fabric badge worn by British and South African forces during the Second Boer War. Such titles were used to denote service in the South African Army and were often worn on the shoulder to indicate participation in the conflict.
