Icon of The Sky - Jewelled Egg - 2009. A beautifully presented piece with a movable miniature Spitfire and associated ‘sound effects’. In very good condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. No signs of previous damage or repair. Minimal surface wear only commensurate with age. Colours are strong and not faded and gilding in good order throughout. All ‘jewels’ are present and firmly attached. Lid hinge is original, works correctly and closes firmly. Miniature Spitfire is in good condition with no damage. Fresh battery installed. ‘Sound effects’ are working. Place the switch to ‘on’ and firmly press the tiny black button to operate.
