The Hobbit has been read and on one of the inserts for the Silmarillion there’s a small crease (see photos). The Silmarillion The Hobbit Mathoms, an exclusive 88-page booklet illustrated in colour compiling a short history of the writing and publication of The Hobbit plus all six surviving pages of the earliest manuscript, together with associated works, including J.R.R. Tolkien's poem, "The Hoard', and his 1938 lecture on Dragons.
