This beautiful vintage jewellery piece is made from heavy, multifaceted aurora borealis (AB) crystals which lay in three strands closely to the collar bone. The AB necklace fastens with a striking large rhinestone covered clasp which can be worn to the back of the neck or to the front or side as a decorative feature. The ab beads are graduated in size, with larger ones towards the front of the neck. The necklace appears to have been restrung at some point and could do with a restringing again as the cotton thread holding the beads has deteriorated over time.
