Brass tray probably trench art featuring Arabic Script and the initials DLR. Research doesn’t indicate any definitive provenance. The Arabic script seems to translate as Jawabat meaning letters or messages but I’m happy to be corrected. It also appears to have been cemented to another surface see photo of rear.
