Vintage Wooden Football Pools Results "Predictor" Vintage Used Condition. It has been stored for many years. Probably dates from circa 1930's or 1940's. This curious collectable item consists of a thin metal rod which is threaded with numbered square wooden cubes. Used when football pools were submitted using a paper form, the wooden cubes would be turned randomly on the rod and then placed on the foorball pools coupon alongside the list of football matches that week. The 1, 2 or X next to the match being played would be used to try and "predict" the result, home win, away win or draw. Measures approximately 12 cm.
