Operation Ranch Hand was conducted by the US Military from 1962 through to late 1969 against targets in South Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and North Vietnam. This round patch is a grim reminder of this horrific episode and was a typical example of the prevalence of black humour during the Vietnam War.
