The 120th AHC served primarily as a rapid reaction force in support of the Capital M ilitary Advisory Command (MAC) and units within the area of Saigon including Tan Son, Nhut Airbase and Nha Be. The 120th AHC served in Vietnam from 1961 to 1972 and was awarded the Presidential Unit Citation.
