This is an exceptional and increasingly scarce example of an original early World War II U.S. Army Air Forces Type E-1 Bombardier's Case, dating to 1942. Compact in size yet highly functional, the E-1 case closely resembles a miniature version of the well-known B-4 officer's bag.
