Victorian or Edwardian Officer's Frock coat, excellent condition for age, light weight serge Scarlet cloth with dark blue Melton facings, gilt regimental buttons Royal Scots, still on shoulders, other buttons plundered by the button collectors and are missing in action, interior stamped with remains of a war department paper label with date can't tell. tailor's label, Bauman and Nathans, which were making these jackets during the 1880's and prior to WW1, see photos.
