There are a number of pin holes where the areas surrounding Caen have been folded back. Produced as part of a small print run at the detailed scale of 1:10,000, its content was compiled and drawn by the CENTRAL INTERPRETATION UNIT (C.I.U.), in conjunction with the WAR OFFICE, using up to the minute aerial reconnaissance photographs.
