Heavy leather-bound album with decorative embossed cover and original brass clasp and key (key present but lock no longer working, typical for age). Contains thick cream card pages with gilt-printed borders and oval and rectangular mounts for cartes de visite and cabinet photographs. Pages are clean, intact, and unusually well preserved, with no major tears or losses. Binding solid. A genuine late-Victorian family photo album, empty and ready for display or reuse.
