A beautiful Victorian photograph album dated 1898 belonging to Alexander Harold Mitchell-Innes. He & his family owned Whitehall, a fine country house in Berwickshire with stables. A. Prominent family in the horse racing business of the day and this album showcases their horses. Each horse has some information handwritten alongside, names, dates & sires etc. 41 photographs in good fair condition for age and use, small handful over exposed. A wonderful & scarce piece that is not only interesting to look through, but one that opens up research into the stories & history of Whitehall, which I believe now sadly has gone to ruin. International postage via ebays GSP.
Victorian Photograph Album - Whitehall Manor House - Race Horses & Pedigree is a perfect fit for horse and racing enthusiasts seeking authentic, high-quality reproductions of historic images of race horses and their pedigrees.
