A 19th century silver plated and gold plated vesta case box or snuff box. With ridged design all over, hinged lid with applied gold coloured vacant shield reserve to lid. Striking plate to reverse. In good condition with overall wear and corrosion to the striking plate and inside, no splits or major damage. 4.4cm x 2.8cm x 1.0cm high.
