Vintage 1933 Hand Tinted Book Plate - Some of the Medals won in The Great War (WW1). This Bookplate is from the 1933 Book, "Newnes' Pictorial Knowledge Volume 7, and Educational Treasury and Children's Dictionary" of who one of the Associated Editors was the famous Children's Author, Enid Blyton. Printed by White friars Press Ltd, London and Tonbridge. The images were "specially painted for this work" (as written just below the image of the medals). It is in very good condition with just minor light marks on the white border. The medal images themselves and the written index below is clear and bright and in good condition. It measures 26 X 19cm. Perfect for framing for a war history buff.
