This is an original 1960s Winnie the Pooh children’s plastic (Melaline) bowl by Melaware in England. Most Melaware products sold on eBay featuring Winnie the Pooh state that their item is from 1965, when all they are doing is misreading the Roman Numeral copyright date of Disney’s acquisition of the AA Milne characters which is printed on all Pooh products. Theirs are likely 1980s. This one appears to be a genuine 1960’s item as it still has the Melaware script logo to the base which was phased out in the latter 1960s, placing this item between 1965 and 1968/69. It is in very nice condition, no scuffs or cracks and the plastic hasn’t discoloured. The graphics of Pooh is also very clear. It measures 12.5 cm in diameter with a depth of 5cm.
