This scarce "Benedict Processed Peas" lithographed alloy sign is in "as found" condition. "Benedict Peas" was a brand of United Canners Ltd of Hanover Square, London, the company was established in the 1930's and Benedict Peas were popular in the 1950's . The sign has some areas of rough paint and losses in places, as well as the stains, scuffs, marks and scratches you would expect from an item which has spent its' 'life' outside. The central image and lettering have faded over the years but, they are still clear and legible. The blue background still has a fair colour. I have tried to show the condition in the pictures. The sign measures 73 cm (28 1/4 inches) by 50 cm (19 3/4 inches). This lovely sign will still display superbly. Please be aware that customs or import duties may apply.
