This scarce "Cadbury's" "Chocolate Brazil Nuts" box is in "as found" condition. It would have been used to transport "Cadbury's" "Chocolate Brazil Nuts" to the shop keeper and then used to display the contents on the counter. This box held 2 lbs. In 1824, John Cadbury opened a grocer’s shop at 93 Bull Street, Birmingham. In 1866 the launch of 'Cadbury Cocoa Essence', helped increase sales dramatically and transformed a small business into a worldwide company. Cadbury's Dairy Milk was launched in 1915 and is still one of the most popular chocolate bars in the U.K. The box is made from pine sides, front and back with a card lid and bottom, it is covered in brown paper with an original label to the front, the inside of the lid and on one side.
