A vintage Lebkuchen-Schmidt Nürnberg Large Lidded Rectangular Lithograph Gingerbread Tin. Nuremberg castle on lid and historic scenes on sides. Very decorative gold and colourful embossed flowers and swirls on lid and sides. The hinges work well, however they do not feel the strongest- seems they were designed that way. Some surface scuff and scratch marks on base and inside but generally very good condition see photos. Pretty lightweight yet robust construction. Such exceptional Bavarian collectible- would make an outstanding gift for someone close. Size is approximately 41cm x 29cm x 17cm
