This is a George W. Horner tin with the hard to find image of Simple Simon. The tin features a colorful and charming image on the lid of Simple Simon handing out penny pies to a group of children. Image on the lid is in fairly good vintage condition. It obviously has some damage given its age Stamped on the bottom of the tin is the following; Made in England by George W. Horner and Co. Ltd. Chester-Le-Street, County of Durham.
