Vintage HMS Neptune Boat Badge, Tampion, Royal Navy Plaque Dated around 1960 - 90's Hand-painted cast metal 18cm x 14cm HMS Neptune (20) was a Leander-class light cruiser launched in 1933 and sunk in a minefield off Tripoli in 1941. HMS Neptune was a projected Neptune-class cruiser in the 1945 Naval Estimates, but the plans were cancelled in March 1946 and she was never ordered. HMS Neptune (shore establishment) is the name given to the shore establishment at HMNB Clyde. Good used condition for age, with some marks and marks Tampion box 16
