This "Hygena Cabinet" "Household Wants Indicator" board by "Charles Letts & Co is in "as found" condition. The indicator acts as a visual reminder to replace home and kitchen items by flipping the little tabs from cream to red. The items run from Ammonia to Whiting, with some interesting items listed, it's a great snapshot into the Edwardian kitchen and will look great in a kitchen today. The board has suffered a little over the years, there are stains underneath the celluloid however, there is no damage to the celluloid covering, all of the tabs are present and they do all flip over well, there is some surface rust and loss of paint to the cream and red paint work. The edges have some paint marks and at some point an owner has drilled three holes to screw it to the wall. The lettering is still clear and legible.
