Butterfly pendant lamp in the style of Lars Schiøler. Note: yellow shade only The shade consists of vibrant yellow plastic sheets, skillfully folded and attached to one another. All sheets are mounted to a round ring that supports the bulb holder. When lit, the thin plastic offers a diffused, soft glow, while the overlapping areas create a darker band around the middle — a signature effect of the design. Many of these lampshades suffered from heat damage over the years due to the high wattage bulbs used in the 60s/70s, but this example remains in great vintage condition.
