These are hard plastic. The large ones are 4 inches across and the small ones 2.25 inches. They are connected with string that's melted inside them. The orange one is approximately 80 inches long and the pink 60. I noticed one pink one is cracked but snaps back into place. The circles are hard plastic but the string in between each one is flexible
