W.E Johns is globally renowned as the creator of the iconic "Biggles" aviation series. An incredibly rare original letter for Flying Officer W.E. Johns dated 23rd March 1922. The contents consist of an official rejection for a role within the RAF, interestingly he later went on to reject T E Lawrence, (Lawrence of Arabia).
