Commissioning: This Queen's Ware porcelain plate was specially commissioned by the Daily Mail and The Mail on Sunday.Occasion: It was produced circa 2003 to commemorate and celebrate the life of the Queen Mother following her death in 2002 at the age of 101.Design: The plate measures roughly 22.5 cm (8.86 inches) in diameter. It features a blue and white central photographic portrait of the Queen Mother framed by the text "To Celebrate the Life of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother" and the years 1900–2002.
