White Ten Pound Note recently liberated from Italy- K192 46231 July 1937 - German forgery? or British genuine note? The information available is not conclusive! It seems contradictory and not clear- yes the Germans made notes with the same numbers as British genuine notes I am told - I have zoomed in on a forgery and genuine note but can’t see any difference between either.Apparently the notch is not evidence! So you must make your own mind up! The price it’s up for is a Bernhard note price! If it’s genuine it’s worth a lot more. One recently sold on E-Bay for £360. This note is in clean condition when you consider it’s over 80 years old, your chance to own a unique piece of history!
