Beautifully constructed wooden BBC radio box which originally housed a type VC Valve Crystal receiver by the British Thomson-Houston Co Ltd. There is a BTH logo inset in the lid and a BBC logo on the front inscribed: G.P.O Reg. No 0373. Type approved by post master general. This would be ideal for a museum or for a collector of vintage radios. Alternatively it would make an interesting and attractive storage box in its own right. The box is in very good condition for its vintage apart from one of the hinges on the rear that is broken. The dimensions in cm are: w= 28.7 d= 27 h= 21.8 Rest assured that the box will be very well packaged for safe postage.
