A few reluctant sales but needs must. 1914-15 trio and plaque to 11067 Private George Watt 6th Battalion Gordon Highlanders killed in action 13th November 1916 during the 51st Highland Divisions successful capture of Beaumont Hamel. He now rests in the Beautiful Beaumont Hamel British cemetery just by the Sunken lane. At some time a hole has been drilled through all 3 medals and 4 small ones around plaque. This does not detract from a very nice group and complete with original ribbons and cardboard Plaque holder. I have a few more Somme bits to list at some point.
