WW1 1914 Mons Star & Bar Medal trio to 3-8214 Pte L J Kemp, Royal Sussex Regt.

Louis Joseph Kemp was born in Ticehurst, Sussex, in 1887. Kemp survived the war, and moved initially to Bexhill, before settling in the village of Crowhurst (near Battle). Kemp died in 1967, and he is buried in Crowhurst churchyard.
