This superb antique world war one 9ct solid gold sweethearts bar brooch is set to the centre with the Royal Engineers Regimental badge with the King George V cypher and is finished with blue and red enameling, superb quality item/craftsmanship. It is hallmarked to the back with just 9ct denoting 9ct solid gold, please see all the additional photos as they form part of the description. Measuring 2" or 50mm long approx. it is in excellent used condition with no dents, dings, splits, repairs or losses to the enamelling and weighs a hefty 4grams by my electronic scales.
