This is a December 1917 dated photo. The date is painted, on the team football, as shown. Despite being badly creased, this photo is , arguably, most interesting. It is annotated on the reverse. The team pictured, were members of the 1st/3rd North Midlands, Ambulance football team. One of the medics was a Military Medal holder as shown.
