HMS Snapdragon was a Flower-class sloop, launched in 1915. In 1916 she saved the crew of a British collier that had been torpedoed by an enemy submarine. She was sold and broken up in 1934. Genuine period barrel matchstick holder/desk tidy made from teak salvaged from the HMS Snapdragon which served during the First World War.
