WW1 Crested ware, of a German field gun, inscribed on the barrel "German Gun Captured by British". On the side of one of its wheels is painted the Canterbury coat of arms, and Latin motto: "AVE MATER ANGLAE", Meaning "Hail Mother of England". According to the codes underneath it was made by A.B. Jones & sons. Its measurements are 14cm Length or 5.5inches 7cm Height or 3 inches 4cm Width or 1.5 inches (These are estimates) as close as i can get, and not 100% perfect. This item is in great condition, showing a little wear from age or possibly even from its original production, but all in all a nice little piece of Canterbury military WW1 Crested ware. Enjoy and thank you.
