From the records I've found, Charles Henry Collett was born in London in 1893. He was killed during the Third Battle of Ypres (Passchendaele) and has no known grave. Family history says that Charles and my great-grandmother Elizabeth knew each other before the war and were planning a future together before he enlisted.
