These are an unusually well-preserved pair of Imperial German WW1 Fernglas 08 binoculars made by C.P. Goerz and dated II 17 (2nd quarter 1917). An especially interesting feature is the original English-language paper insert inside the case from John Barker & Co. Ltd. of Kensington, London.
