Great condition original German M16 helmet from WW1, with most of its original green paint remaining. The shell is sound but does have a couple of very small dings to the front (bullets ?) and a couple of scratches on the front as well but again, nothing serious. It’s been fitted with a replacement M17 steel liner band with leather liner Marked Q66 for Quist, who arguably manufactured the best quality helmets in both world wars There’s also a stamp inside the helmet on the crown of E63 Please note the helmet stand isn’t included in the sale, it’s just to illustrate how well the helmet displays
