Frederick Lightening was serving with the 12th Battalion of the Norfolk Regiment when he was killed in action on the 17th August 1918, his service number at the that time was 320181. He lived in North Heigham and enlisted in Norwich. Remembered with Honour, Outtersteene Communal Cemetery Extension, Bailleul. Tracked postage always used.
