PROCTOR; Royal Navy Long Service & Good Conduct Medal (swivel suspender): RMA/7372 HARRY PROCTOR, GUNNER. R.M.A. All about GVF. Papers in National Archives (ADM159/32/7372) show Harry Proctor was born 18th October 1878 in St Andrews and enlisted into the Royal Marine Artillery on 21st March 1898 in Dundee. He served on a series of ships and shore bases (e.g. Thunderer, Princess Royal, Swiftsure, Duke of Edinburgh. Demobbed May 1919. Awarded his LSGC in Feb 1919. Post by Royal Mail tracked.
