Original World War One era photograph showing a Voluntary Aid Detachment (V.A.D.) ambulance marked “Kent 76”, associated with Cornwall Hall Hospital, Sevenoaks. A scarce and historically interesting image relating to wartime medical services and local Kent history. The vehicle prominently displays the Red Cross emblem and V.A.D. unit marking. Condition: The photograph is in worn condition with significant creasing, edge damage and surface marks, as shown in the images. Despite this, the subject remains clearly identifiable. A rare survival of a specific V.A.D. unit photograph.
