For sale is an WW2 1943 Dated British Army Anti-Gas Ointment No. 5 Empty Tin. WW2 British Anti-Gas Ointment No. 5 was a, typically, blue-tinted, flat rectangular tin containing eight, and later sometimes fewer, lead tubes of anti-vesicant cream. Used by soldiers to treat mustard gas and Lewisite burns, this mid-war (circa 1943), common item was often carried in respirator haversacks to neutralize skin-contact chemical agents. This measures 11cm length x 7.8cm width x 1.6cm depth. We currently have 35 of these in stock, all in similar good condition.
