WW2 - 1945 - Royal Navy Sound Operated Telephone - Ships or Submarines

I'm sure this would have continued being used up to the late 50s or maybe early 60s. What I do like about this phone are the brass fittings - the winding handle, the phone cradle, sound vent, lamp cover and the large flathead cover screws.
