CLINOMETER FOR VICKERS MACHINE GUN. 1944 dated, in excellent working order Carries the makers marks as follows: - 1944 - “D.S. & S.” ( which refers to a British wartime contractor and the manufacturer of the clinometer Davidson, Sorley & Sons) - “No 2792” - “V.E.0067” Depth and Elevation adjustment via the graded barrels on either side of the device are working perfectly. Likewise the spirit level and bubble on top of the unit is also full intact and operational (see pictures) The brass depth and elevation angle scale has the name “P.Stuart” lightly etched at the bottom (see pictures)
