WW2 British Army Leather Wrist Strap with Metal Dieu Et Mon Droit Sheild and 2 Buckles. Length at extremities 23cm. Width 7cm. The wrist strap in black leather with a central metal Dieu Et Mon Droit Lion Rampant Sheild. Two straps and metal buckles for fastening. These were bought and traded by British Soldiers on the home front and abroad , often made by locals or soldiers on light duties. Dieu et mon droit is the British Monarchy motto meaning God and my right. Some tonal fade and discolouration to the leather in places and general age to the sheild. The buckles in good working order.
