In 1938 the M36 was updated into the M40 uniform, most noticeably changing the collars to Field Grey. Field Grey buttons, tunic hook mounting and removable shoulder boards as you would expect on an M40 tunic, all in a high-quality wool with an excellent reproduction of Feldgrau.
