WW2 British Army HSAT Airborne helmet reworked in the style of an early 1943 MK2 canvas chinstrap variant. Painted in the correct textured khaki green colour used, no primer like the originals, in 1943 before the helmets switched to dark brown. All brass is blackened, chinstrap, buckles, nuts. New rubberised foam added to the liner. Paint stripped down and repainted, textured inside and out like the originals. These look brilliant after a bit of use and weathering. The lack of primer, unlike other repros, makes any scrapes look more authentic.
